I'd try changing the "preferred network type" under SETTINGS > NETWORK & INTERNET > MOBILE NETWORK (I'm on HavocOS, on your rom the path may differ)

I thought about that, but checking with fastboot oem device-info showed it was unlocked. Even so I tried locking the bootloader and unlocking again, but the issue persists. I really have no idea what is going on.. I guess I'll have to create a thread about this in order not to spam this thread...
