Thanks for everyone's input I managed to get it rooted and flashed it with this ROM. Now to do 2 more for the kids!

As GhostRider86 suggested I did a factory reset and now it has rooted and I have blocked the OTA and now when I click System Updates it just goes to a black screen so I presume they have been blocked now? Now I can install this custom ROM using FlashFire?

I have tried rooting my device using KingRoot and this is the 4th attempt now and now it just says Verify Root Status and been like that for about 10 mins now? Done reboot and ran KingRoot again and still stuck on Verify Root Status.

Thanks for that I will give it a go, I have just checked my device again and it is still on version 5.3.1.0 but then it says version 5.3.2.0 has downloaded and ready to install. If I run the Supertool to root will it make any difference that the new update is ready to install?

I have just purchased the Fire 7 8GB 5th Generation tablet and it has come with firmware 5.3.1.0 and after reading threads it says it can be rooted but not downgraded so can I install this custom ROM and if I can how would I go about it maybe with Fireflash? Thanks.

My Ulefone takes a good 8 hours to charge and even then it might not charge properly for example if I restart phone it might say it needs charging. I have tried a new battery because my old battery balooned and it looks like my new battery is going the same way, will a new ROM fix this issue?

Hi, Just looking into rooting my Chromecast I have read some threads but wanted to know can you use a firmware that lets you use the CC like a Android TV box or even with a different firmware can you just cast from a phone/tablet? Thanks, Fayraz

You can flash ROMs without turning S-OFF, I used this guide to do it on my Sensation.

Just installed Albinomans 10.1 JB ROM and it is pretty good so far, but the Revelation ROM looks good and most people have good things to say about it but the only thing putting me off this ROM is Sense.
