I don't get it. With both Bing and Google I found it as a free download on multiple sites (even on Microsoft's own website), but I seriously don't get what's so unusual about it. :confused:

If you're looking for backwards compatibility Windows Embedded Handheld 7 (based on WM6.x) is scheduled for the second half of 2011.

On the bright side, if WP7 can't be ported to the HD2, WM 6.x is part of the Windows Embedded division now (Windows Embedded Handheld), and MS is going to continue development on it (Windows Embedded Handheld 7, which the Moto ES400 will be upgradeable to, is coming in the second half next year).

I think the HD3 concept should have the front of an HTC HD Mini, the back of a more square-angeled HTC Legend, and stereo speakers, all in addition to your other concept specs. It would be awesome!

Okay, I'm sorry if I'm totally off with this, but, about the drivers, I think we have a universal agreement that WP7 is based on some version of CE, correct? Well wouldn't the preinstalled HTC drivers be CE drivers technically? Maybe they'll at least get WP7 to boot in some form.

Oh, I see now! I can't believe I didn't try that! Well, anyway, this is pretty interesting. Especialy files like 'FileBrowser.exe,' FileBrowserCM.dll,'and 'NativeInstallerHost.exe' could be of some great use to us. ;)

There is no error message; I run the tools exactly as described, which works, but when I look for "C:\output", I can't find it. Otherwise everything is fine.
