Is it necessary to install even when taking pictures with the back camera. I have a pink phots on v7.9.4 but V7 test 10 worked fine. I thought the fix was for front camera and had less dots.

Yes, the app works like I stated before but the problem is the module that doesn't work. I guess I'll be using the app then. I'm quite reluctant to mess with the iptables rules while having no clue to what is wrong. I hope the app doesn't hog too much battery. Thanks for your help though.

Yes but I'm on stock right now. Got rid of wireguard. Still nothing changed. Still unable to connect. So wireguard+wifi=works everything else doesn't work. I'm wondering if my ISP has something to do with this?

Might be because ob13 has treble and to download that without problems you had to have ob 11 or 12 (according to oneplus post below the changelog) so I'm guessing since ex kernel changelog indicates changes were last made on ob 9, it doesn't work? I tried it though before I reached this...
