Got email from amazon.de that my pre-order shipped over night. I'd forgotten to cancel and don't need it any more as bought an Oppo Reno. If anyone wants it for the price I paid (£505) and collect from me near M6 J18 then please send PM. If nobody is interested I'll just refuse delivery.

I'll leave something suitable. I have to thank them for being inept and not providing updates and fulfilling pre-orders. That delay has led me to pick up an Oppo Reno 10x today. It's awesome. Glad for the delay now!

Amazon Germany updated this morning to say 4-6 weeks. I purchased from Amazon, not a 3rd party listing. There's got to be a problem as to why there is no availability. Given all the delays and lack of updates from Asus I don't think I'd touch a ZenFone 6 with a sh*tty stick now...

Amazon are making on the EUR>GBP currency exchange - you're not getting a great rate. I paid on my Revolut card (a multi currency pre-pay card) - it came out at £504 which is £1 less than Asus with next day shipping.

Asus UK store still have no idea about shipping dates. I asked them again this morning and was told they would update in mid June. I've cancelled my order and going to buy from Amazon.de. Same price including delivery to the UK.

With the exception of UK I'm pretty sure all the EU ASUS e-stores are fulfilled by athe same distributor based in Germany which explain why all EU ASUS stores are now beginning to ship. As usual, just the UK in the sh*t.

I've tried to contact ASUS directly via email, twitter, and faceshite, but no answer from any. They've made a right balls of this. The best phone is the one you can actually get your hand on. On that basis it's probably going to be the Redmi K20 at this rate.

Really poor considering they've taken payment up front too. If it doesnt arrive this week, which looks increasingly likely, i'll be cancelling and probably go Redmi K20. Sick of Asus - i've not bought anything off them since a Transformer Pad many years ago but had similar issues then...
