That's because after step 4 you should flash inside Magisk the TWRP.zip file. It should be done before flashing Magisk to slot A and slot B and then reboot.

I got the same problem but my internal storage is encrypted (it shows 0kb). TWRP is not asking for PIN to unencrypt the partition. What can I do now?

As for me it was working without any problem since the day I bought the phone but 9.5.9 broke it. Now I cannot make it work. I've tried xXX rom as well as Smurf Kernel and both didn't help. Reverting back to 9.5.8 solved the problem... waiting for 9.5.9 FIX.
