I gave up waiting and flashed it manually. Was pretty painless actually, only took an hour overall (dling the flash program and the flash files, setting phone up etc.) You dont have to root or have the bootloader unlocked either (which I had assumed wrongly you needed to in order to flash.)...

1:) because they only have so many servers from which to download, and bandwidth is costly ;) 2:) Some countries have specific regulations that legally SE have to abide by where as in other countries they may not apply, eg volume in some countries I think it was limited to a set db level.. Also...

There is a definite battery drain after the new update, UK Generic Firmware. It does seem pretty excessive an hour after unplugging from 100% im down to 90% at work ;/ using gsm network not 3g and wifi. Also noticed that the bug of the headset button not responding after a while whilst I ride...

I had this same problem, even with a case. Used some ripped up bits of thick paper you get from the tear-offs from a wage slip and it hasn't happened since. Im happy its easily solved but a little miffed that its obviously a design issue. :rolleyes:

hi guys i've had my arc for close to 2 months now and it's been spot on. But recently i've noticed the headset button no longer registers any clicks. Thinking it was broken I downloaded a few android apps for headset control. And they definitely register clicks but id rather not have to pay for...

Try turning the phone off and removing the battery and re-inserting. This seemed to sort the same issue I had (30% > 1% then shutdown).

Does the arc already come with a screen protector? Ive got a scratch already on the display but if thats on just the protector then im happy how would i go about replacing it?

Ive connected my ace Arc to my work computer and decided to install the software.. Needless to say its installed and when I connect my phone it says there is an update waiting, i do as it says (changing storage mode like the instructions say to) but it always loses the connection to the phone...

I ve had a reboot while riding to work with music playing. I wouldnt of minded so much if the start up time wasnt as bad as an Iphone.
