Post [Discussion & Feedback] OxygenOS 10.3.7 OTA for OnePlus 6T

I did see in the paper work that came with the OnePlus protector that they recommend after fitting to delete all fingerprints on the phone and rescan. Maybe worth a try

Post [Discussion & Feedback] OxygenOS 10.3.7 OTA for OnePlus 6T

Hi, I'm using an official OnePlus tempered glass protector and don't have any issues with the fingerprint scanner. I have noticed in general it's better to have a dark wallpaper.

Post [Discussion & Feedback] OxygenOS 10.3.7 OTA for OnePlus 6T

I used Oxygen Updater to download the stable OOS 10 update and then applied as a manual update. My phone is completely stock and only ever had updates applied in this way since I got the phone in February. The only thing I have done after every update is reboot to recovery and wipe the cache...

Absolutely Google Play uses GPS to determine where you are. Might want to try switching of the location permission for Google Play and then try your VPN

Post [OFFICIAL] OxygenOS 10.0.1 (Android Q 10.0) OTA for OnePlus 5 (cheeseburger)

I am on stock unrooted and I got it via the Oxygen Updater app with no VPN required (located in UK). App downloads the full ota and then you apply it using Settings/System Update and then select the cog from top right and then select local upgrade.

Post Android P coming to 5/5T "later this year"

It's a requirement that if a device is to launch with Oreo then it has to be Treble compliant. It a device is upgraded to Oreo then it does not have to be compliant.

Post Wifi Calling - O2 in UK

Hi, I've seen reports that Wifi Calling and Voice Over 4g works in the Oreo Beta on O2 in the UK. As long as you've activated 4g calling and Voice Over Wifi in your account the options to active it then become available in setting on the phone on the Oreo Beta apparently.
