I have a problem with my Note 9 after the pie update. For some reason it changes time zone to GMT all the time at random. My only temp fix is to turn off the automatic time zone update and turn it back on. Like I said this is temporary. Any help is appreciated.

As I stated in the header, TWRP won't accept encryption password on Oreo 8.1 I did a factory reset to make sure I had the correct password PIN and I do, still when going to TWRP it states my password is incorrect for encryption Any ideas?

This means I need to be rooted... I assumed the same. What are you running to be rooted on Oreo 8.1? My assumption is it's different than Nuget 7.1 since I had issues doing it the same way.

I'm installing through TWRP RC1 and it doesn't seem to be taking. Anyone else having issues? If not what am I doing wrong? I have Elements V1.02 running TWRP RC1

Thanks for your replies.... turns out Verizon had a long term outage. Took 2 days for them to fix it and they continuously denied having an outage till I pointed out that they sent me a message telling me they had an outage that was being worked on. SMH

I have a rooted verizon phone. Haven't updated it at all to more recent updates, all the sudden my entire data signal and call signal are off. I got no service. Anyone else this happen to? Is the only way to fix this to flash back to stock to get updates?

So I haven't updated my phone with an OTA yet. It's still on the base NDE63P build for verizon. I am rooted running Elements Kernal 1.01 running TWRP recovery. Is this ROM compatible with my phone? Can I just flash using TWRP or are there more steps?

Yeah that is what I'm hinting at.... There is no updated ROM to work with TWRP yet that is updated to the latest Google Build
