Netflix HDR High Def viewing on Netflix works fine. Not certain about 'bright' - but this T820 renders better than the large HD screen.

I'm using SuperSu on T820. I found a fix. Netflix not working after root is a known thing. Fix: Change /system/vendor/lib/liboemcrypto.so to liboemcrypto.so.bak. No reboot required, netflix will just load (after you downloaded the netflix apk, since it is not available on Play Store after root).
