    Post [INFO] Latest firmware version per customization (region/branding) {18-Jun-2015}

    How many times you have been told to wait for correct version to be published, OR to manually flash any other available version? How hard it really is for you to understand this??? :confused:

    Post Android 4.2.2 Update - Impressions & Reviews!

    About batterylife, it's maybe a bit better than with 4.1.2. Just had about 50 hours of use (very minimal, about 50min of calls, few txt-messages and emails, little Facebook, Walkman, Skype etc on normal mode with 3G & WLAN on, no stamina) and 30% left on battery. Just didn't fiddle with it all...

    Post [INFO] Latest firmware version per customization (region/branding) {18-Jun-2015}

    XDA has nothing to do with these updates, they are all released by Sony. Maybe some operators want to check these updates before release, but regarding this Elisa 9870 these is not much difference to general nordic 7280 version that would need checking. It will be released when time is right...

    Post 4.2.2 update in UK??

    Post 4.2.2 update in UK??

    As I got tired waiting for update to my version, I did it by following Apollo89's guide to change customization number. Yep, rooted my Z as I was about to root it anyway. Could not have been any more simplier, only effort was to set up Windows for whole operation (ADB drivers) as I've been using...

    Post Qi Wireless Charging Kit for Sony Xperia Z

    Sure, I believe it can be done. Either as a whole or disassembled. As seen from some previous projects with Qi chargers, they hold pretty much air inside. Haven't yet opened this one, no visible screws found, could be just pressed together. I think it couldn't be too hard even to build a stand...

    Post Qi Wireless Charging Kit for Sony Xperia Z

    Today I got this Qi charger from Fasttech, www.fasttech.com/products/1154/10001946/1272303-n7-qi-inductive-wireless-charging-transmitter As I allready had an old Nokia general carstand (windscreen mounted), I modified it a little. Now this Qi charder fits to the stand firmly, and my Z with...

    Post $40 USB "Qi" charger found

    Just ordered this for 25€ (~30$ with 5% discount)) from Fasttech to experimental purposes. I've got an old Nokia carstand which I allready have modified to fit my Xperia Z (with Muvit Qi wallet). Let's see what can be done. :silly:

    Post Qi Wireless Charging Kit for Sony Xperia Z

    A bit pricy that back cover :eek: Might not be a good idea to open phone within warranty period. But after that why not... btw, these restrictions to new users are a real PITA...

    Post Qi Wireless Charging Kit for Sony Xperia Z

    Just heard that Z that I ordered will not (probably) include DK26 -docking. So I went and ordered this Muvit Qi -packet. Yep, a bit pricy (89,95€) but now no need to open flaps or remove covers for charging. Mayby I'll try to build a cardock with Qi also, lots of Qi transmitters available...

    Does it charge if you flip the front cover to back (under the phone) and place it on the pad?

    Post Check your display manufacturer

    Nope, it's just like any other linux based system, just shows any rows with "panel" listed from dmesg which is just a listing of devices/settings found during boot of the device. From Ubuntu: DESCRIPTION dmesg is used to examine or control the kernel ring buffer. The default action is to...
