So I'm not sure what the **** happened, but my 6p decided to brick itself after the latest update. It's essentially in a perpetual bootloop. When it does manage to boot up, it bootloops again a few seconds later. I tried reflashing 7.1.1 and 7.0 multiple times. Nothing worked. It's running...
Ugh, that's really unfortunate. I could go back to stock but it is quite slow. I've got an iPhone coming due to this whole Note 7 situation (wouldn't be dealing with this m7 if it weren't for that), but it's not going to be here for a few weeks. Guess I'll just deal with this issue until then...
I tried both CandySeven (7.0) and Resurrection Remix on my m7, and I can receive sms just fine, but I cannot send it. Is there a fix for this or should I try a different rom?
Alright cool, I'll see if I can get around to flashing it tomorrow. I think it's a problem due to the lack of driver support in the cdma radios on newer firmware, because on stock Lollipop SMS works fine, but I'll see what happens.
Yeah, a m7spr build would be great, thanks. Just let me know and I can test it. I assume it won't have SMS support? Both of the Marshmallow and Nougat ROMs that I have tried lack SMS support on CDMA networks.
I'm getting about 3hrs SOT on average. Video and GPS are things I don't use so that's fine for me anyway. SMS is my only problem and as such I'm contemplating switching ROMs. The weird thing is I can receive SMS and MMS perfectly fine.
Oh definitely. I love this ROM. I can't even find another Nougat ROM for this phone as it is, but this runs better than stock 5.0.1. Really impressive. I've also got LSpeed installed for performance tweaking and this thing is really responsive. Just wish the SMS worked. I've gotten a few and I...
I've found that I can't send SMS on my Sprint M7. Literally the only major issue. The only other thing is that the flashlight toggle in quick settings doesn't work. My main issue is SMS though. It says something like "failed to send message with Sprint, error -1." I can receive SMS perfectly fine.
I'm using this on mine. Works pretty well, actually it's way faster than CM12 was, BUT there are minor glitches, but that's to be expected with alpha software...
