ID - are you packaging your [ROM]'s with a boot.img pulled from a nandroid? This is the only thing I can think of why you would be having people have issues using non-.92 hboots since the partition size changed.

Any Hboot will work. Hboot only really matters when restoring a nandroid from a different version hboot because of partition sizes.

hboot doesn't matter at all. ID is either misunderstanding the question or has no clue what hes talking about. Hboot absolutely doesn't matter.
