I'm on the official beta and I haven't noticed battery drain. If anything, I feel my battery drain has greatly decreased. I honestly haven't encountered any issues/bugs.

I have a Verizon Note 8 but put the unlocked U1 software on it awhile ago. I was able to flash this without any issues.

I updated Samsung+ yesterday and still nothing. Not sure if that means we aren't selected or it just isn't available to us yet.

Anyone in the US get the official beta? I keep checking Samsung + but haven't seen anything yet. I really want Pie but don't think it's worth side loading the beta when you have to downgrade to get official updates.. I really wish Samsung was better about including their so called "premium"...

So if I flash the beta from the link will I lose OTA without flashing back down to current Oreo? I got slightly confused reading through everything.

Didn't work for me. They install, Phone crashes with zero functionality, and Contacts opens but crashes when you click anything.

Got it to install, but when you select open it crashes. When you go to device maintenance through settings, it opens the stock version. Maybe there is something I'm missing?..

100% correct. I just thought to set it as default and got it to work minutes before you posted. Thanks for helping though!
