So I can safely update my device (even on an OpenKirin ROM) thru eRecovery? What about process using OTA? How will that go? I guess using eRecovery will be the easiest of the two.

If I'm on an OpenKirin ROM (RROS) should I go back to EMUI to manually update my firmware (from B528 to B540)?

I am currently at OpenKirin's RROS b2, thanks for the information though. I thought we were missing a lot of things (especially network side) since I feel like the data connection speed is not on par with EMUI 8's speed but I think this is with the ROM. Thanks man!
