Thread Need help outputting to an SD analog TV.

Hey guys, I use my Shield for interactive ESL classes in a number of schools I teach in, most of the time it's okay because these classes have newer TVs with an HDMI in. Occasionally I have to give the digital lessons a pass however when the classroom has an old CRT-tube 4:3 TV. Now, I found...

Post The Andraxis Project! Official thread.

Hi, It's been a long time since I've been to this thread. Interest kind of petered out once my project was no longer the only viable option to get some mobile gaming going. Anyway, someone PM'ed me requesting a .step file (which apparently some 3d printers use), so I went ahead and made a .step...

    Thread [Q] Media device drivers?

I'm having difficulty connecting my Shield to my PC. Every time I try and connect it, Windows fails to find the correct drivers for it. Could someone help me? Don't know what's going on here but it's getting annoying how I can't seem to find the drivers I'm looking for ANYWHERE.

Post [Q] USB instead of wifi functionality?

To clarify, I was hoping I could simply plug in a Shield to my USB port and use it as a USB gamepad, but by the sounds of it that doesn't seem very likely.

Thread [Q] USB instead of wifi functionality?

I'm thinking about getting a Shield, but I've never bothered with wifi connectivity on my desktop PC. Can I still use the Shield as a USB gamepad? What about the streaming functionality? Thanks for any answers!

I'll add it to my list of things to do. Currently my room is a complete mess with a half-built computer transplant taking up my free time. Once I get it set up and the junk cleared away I'll get to the next release. Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app

That's likely the kernel I was thinking of, thanks! Does anybody have suggestions for USB hubs? Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app

Thread Planning on building my own USB hub Nexus 7 dock.

Hey guys, according to this thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2050380, given the right kernel and hardware setup, you can have a USB hub, mouse, keyboard, and a memory stick all powered off a charger that is also powering the Nexus tablet. If this is true, then I am...

Post The Andraxis Project! Official thread.

It looks like there is a problem with missing parts still. Keep hammering Shapeways and they'll give you what you want. Once my vacation is over and I am back at my PC, I'll see to making a revision that is less prone to being shipped minus one part. Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda...

Yeah depending on the orientation the unit was printed in, there might be a bit of junk on the corner of the base piece that snaps into the arm. A razor and a bit of scraping will clear that up. Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app

    Thread [Q] Multi-purpose OTG?

I'M thinking about getting a nexus 7. Question about it's USB OTG capability: Can it connect to multiple things at once through a USB host? I am thinking the ultimate portable workplace would be a portable keyboard, mouse, a microSD reader, and a charging cable all coming from a single host. Is...

Post I have a touchy USB connector. Any risk when flashing?

Could you give me a rundown of what mobile Odin can do? If I just install that (and if I get the pro version because I likes my roots), could I install CM10 or leaked jellybean roms? Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app

Post I have a touchy USB connector. Any risk when flashing?

Yeah that's sort of the question I was asking. Is it possible to install new roms on my phone without touching the USB port. Last time I bothered with custom roms was around two or three years ago, when things were a bit more touchy. Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app

Thread I have a touchy USB connector. Any risk when flashing?

Hello, I am about to get ready to start flashing roms with my phone (Still on 2.3.5 after all this time because I didn't want to touch ISC after reports of bricking). If I understand correctly Odin basically takes care of Everything now? My largest concern is with my USB port; Last time I...
