I've just ordered the Lite from Amazon. I've had an A1 for 2 days, but it seems broken so is going back. Main reasons for not going full A2 are the battery, I have a million micro USB cables, and the size. I don't need a top end phone, so for £155 and Google One, the lite is a total bargain.

Very quick Q hopefully... Nexus 5x fresh out the box. Unlocked, rooted and added TWRP. All good, except I'm on MDA89E so need bringing onto the latest build, but don't want to wipe. Is there a TWRP flashable image, or do I have to go back to stock then reroot and put TWRP back?

I have done a fresh install of M this morning, and google has restored all of my apps and setting. However, most icons on the home screen are appearing as the default android green droid. The icons look fine in the new style app drawer. Any idea how or if I can bulk update all of the home screen...

That's correct for Samsung, but the chipset I quote works without additional kernel modules on my N5. They are included in stock.

Mine is the Asix AX88772 - worked fine but I have to run netcfg eth0 up, followed by netcfg eth0 dhcp in a terminal app. All works fine, but not all apps will use the interface and I can't use it with a personal hotspot from the N5 :(

Which ethernet adapter/chipset are you using? Looks like the kernel isn't recognising it. Are there any lights which show activity?
