Thread Change Platform ID (AT&T Deplatformation/Debrand)

Pretty easy. Use WPInternals and unlock the bootloader, enable root access. When in Mass Storage Mode, goto EFIESP\EFI\Nokia\PCONF, copy “config.pcn” to somewhere and use a HEX editor to open it. Change PXXXX_ATT to PXXXX (the XXXX is a 4 digit number, just replace _ATT with 00s), then save it...

Post Unbrick your dead-boot lumia... WITHOUT JTAG!

Well, if even JTAG shops couldn't do it, then sadly, the problem was in eMMC. But you cant try to fix it, because not everything is possible by non-authorized Nokia tools, while thor2 "is".

That can be repaired by just the standard Windows Device Recovery Tool. But if that error occurred without your management (itself), then there is a big possibility that the Lumia has a bad eMMC.

    Post Root via quadrooter

The data is encrypted and only God knows where the hell the decryption key is stored and how much will it take to crack the password, maybe even 10000+ years depending on what kind of algorithm was used to encrypt the data. You can't even...

Yes, there is. Do the registry modify method. Download Interop Tools and find a guide on changing the device info registry values to Lumia 950XL ones. Sorry, I don't have a Windows Phone anymore, my Lumia's eMMC chip got blown. :( Best regards.
