update To PhilipCetero: thank you for your advice.:good: I didn't know that. Current situation is: I managed to flash stock ROM (Eclair 2.1-update 1, JRDNEM_U3_2.51.1) using RSDLite 6.1.6 (I had previously used recommended version 4.9 and that was the problem, I guess). Now "sbf_flash -v...

Thread [Q] adb cannot see my defy, please help

Hello guys, can any of you help me, please? I tried flashing CM 10.1 or ParanoidAndroid on my Defy (it's quite a long time, so I'm not exactly sure which was the last one). The result was that my phone couldn't boot anymore or even charge a battery. Now I have a new battery and here is the state...

Thread [Q] Can "install update.zip" option save me?

Hello everyone, so I managed to almost brick my Defy. I can only get into boot loader and to stock recovery (android + !). In the boot loader it says: „Battery low, cannot program“. I just want to ask you weather I can save my phone using the „Install update.zip” option from the stock recovery...

And is there a way how to install ROM or at least recovery using "Install update.zip" option from stock recovery? That would probably save me...:silly: Since it doesn't concern PA anymore, I guess I'll start new thread and post a link here...

Hi Kallden, can you post any link how to set up my own funambol server? With it you don't have to register at all, right? Thanks! :-)

Post [Q] Outlook <-> Android sync without gmail account

Hi Kallden, that sounds very promissing, thanks! I just want to ask: are any data sent or synchronized with Funambol servers or somewhere else on the cloud (without me wanting it)? FDroid sounds cool too. :-) Thank you for your advice once more. :-)

Post [Q] Outlook <-> Android sync without gmail account

Well it's not that simple so you can say avoid Defy. I have not yet tried anything mentioned above since I had no time, but I live with my defy and I wouldn't change it for enything else (available nowadays). Everything has it's pros and cons and so far I like more things about Defy than I...

Post [Q] Outlook <-> Android sync without gmail account

Hello and thank you all.. :) The last post sounds very interesting and promising. Isn't it wonderful: google turns people into maniacs setting up their own exchange servers just to protect their phones from syncing with google account! ;) Charming! :D Anyway, I'm going to try it. Btw: do you...

Post [Q] Outlook <-> Android sync without gmail account

Nope, there is no little triangle, no eye and no sync symbol, just a checkbox before the name of account, which enables / disables calendar, so its event are / are not displayed. :( Nope, no data backup option. I did everything you wrote and I was never asked whether to backup data or not. :(...

Post [Q] Outlook <-> Android sync without gmail account

OK, so now I know a bit more about what went wrong. I reset the pone to factory defaults. Then placed the Power widged on the screen and enabled the sync button. Then I provided all information needed so that my phone could connect to my google account. Then I unchecked all three checkboxes at...
