Borked up my phone so bad trying to uninstall Play Services that I had to factory reset. Massive battery problem still going, too.

Serious battery drain from location services. Left my WiFi off overnight at home, bad signal in my area, phone actually LOST charge overnight despite being plugged in. Testing the OP's idea, will update.
