    I have tested the latest version. It did complete the scan, though it restarts if my screen turns off. I was unable to recover the file I was seeking, but that is understandable due to the size and time between the date I erased it and today. Thanks for the great response. Let me know...

    Okay, the file extension is .mp4, recorded on a Nexus 5 running Android 5.0, Build LRX210. I don't know the file size. It could be as small as 2 MB, or 40+Mb. I am available to to connect via teamviewer when you are.
