I just found this thread after being fed up with this phone. My guess with why this happen is because the phone sleeps. You need at least 8GB as far as I know, because the files are partition tables, and what it does is it creates different partitions with different size allocations totaling to about 8GB.

Its probably not hard bricked then. Cause if it was, theres no way it would 'boot up sometimes'.

How did you brick yours? By downgrading to 11a?
