I just did a test and strangely enough all things being the same, the download speeds received a huge boost, from 6Mbps to 76Mbps. I allowed the speed test app to select the best server this time round. To those still experiencing slow speeds, please try with different servers.

exFAT is now supported in 4.2.2! Formatted my 64gb MicroSD to exFAT on my PC and currently copying a 6gb movie file to SD Card. :D
