Data connectivity problems have been reported by several people with CyanogenMod. I personally experienced it with CM, SlimBean.... Have you tried AOKP? I'm running 4.2.2 and have not had any data connectivity issues with this ROM. This is an unmolested install...no APN tweaking.

I tried pretty much all the settings. It appears there is an issue with upstream data on CM. Either there is an obscure setting somewhere that is causing problems or mobile data roaming isn't prefect. Used speed test app and couldn't get a connection for the upstream portion would just time out...

Hum. Perhaps that is my problem? What setting do you use on a daily basis and what is the resulting connection? I'm mostly 3G/4G in my area unless I'm in Boston then I have LTE. I couldn't get Ingress to work on CM so I had to switch back to TW rom and I'm hating very minute of it. Should have...

I have not tried it on 4G/LTE. Can you try it on 3G when you get a chance?

Anyone play Ingress? I couldn't get it to connect to the servers when on 3G mobile. It does work over WiFi or 3G via a Femtocell, which is strange. Tried 817, 818
