    Post SM-G906 All-in-one thread (Official 6.0.1 available) 05/2016

There's a lot of brave souls in this thread, willing to tread the murky waters of unknown LTE bands, just to own the latest tech... you guys are crazy (in a good way!) Haha Anyway, I too am interested in purchasing this device, primarily because I am wanting to upgrade from the horrid Galaxy...

I use my Gmail account with K9 Mail to push e-mail messages to me on the not oft chance I talk to someone whose life is this stuck in 1999.

What you should do is flash the recovery you quoted at the end, then flash the latest recovery using Clockwork. From there, you should be able to flash the latest Carbon nightly, but don't forget to flash GAPPS afterwards too. If you want to unlock the SIM, you'll probably have to do it with one...

Yes, I have been reading. I actually got so sick and tired of your whiny, annoying, self-centered attitude, that I thought I'd step in and offer a reasonable solution to the notreallyabigdeal "problem" you're having, SRSLLY DOOOOOOOOOOD. Then fix it yourself and stop bugging people who have...

That's what I'm trying to figure out. You keep saying the files you're playing aren't "mixed" together. It's highly likely... probable... there's some processing going on that we're not aware of. I'm trying to figure out the big deal, why this is such a huge issue? If it's that crucial for...

What does a mixdown have to do with anything? Or are you playing the videos from headphones, rather than the phone's speaker? EDIT: Even if you're using headphones, I highly doubt the phone is giving you an unprocessed, unbounced audio file. It's a cell phone, not a DAW. Whatever the case, going...

The description of destructive phasing means exactly that - lower volume. Simply "mixing" the signals of the same source recorded by separate microphones will almost always result in cancellation, especially when both your microphones are on the same cellphone. (This method doesn't even exactly...

I'm not really sure exactly what you're trying to do, but almost anytime you record the same source with two microphones you will end up with destructive phase cancellation, which results in lower volume.

Hahaha It's unfair to say that because Japanese television cancels out the benefits of anything!

I sure would like to use Osaifu Keitai with Carbon, however.

I believe he was having forces closes with gapps, the same problem I was having. I don't use my S3 for music, so I'm sorry I can't be of any help there.

Under the 'Advanced' menu in CWM Recovery, you can use 'root hacking' to disable root.

I know one other user was having problems with his phone using the newest carbon, and also for future reference... you must have the latest Samsung firmware/baseband on your device if you want to use any ROMs that use the 4.3 kernel. I figured this out yesterday night, and this morning updated...

I use Tasker to turn on 'Location access' whenever I open an app I use the GPS in, however I'm still getting the same battery life. I also keep my phone on 3G, I only use 4G if I'm in a big city with an overloaded 3G network (Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Kyoto, etc.) I'm on the baseband from October...
