I am using it here in Denmark without any problems. Though I had to change my phone's language from Danish to English ( United States ), to be able to access Assistant Apps. To be noted, I bought my Home device in the US.

I just don't understand why so many people are asking like maniacs about videorecorder... if videorecorder is so important - why on earth do you use an experimental ROM and not a stock with working recorder or simply a standard digital video recorder? I just don't get it! Sent from my GT-I9100...

Which stock did you flash? The same problem happened to me, but then I flashed stock 2.3.5 XWKI8 > rooted with chainfire kernel > CWM Recovery > 18th build > 19th build and bam - phone started! Although I downloaded the build again and checked the MD5 to be sure.
