which option do i use on LGUP to flash ULM firmware? partition dl or refurbish? my phone was originally on sprint then flashed to verizon using the directions from here.

I Ended up restarting my computer and it flashed fine. Only thing though is I don’t get any LTE signal, just 3G on sprint using as993

So you did not contact tmobile at all but the phone was able to unlock after flashing stock 20i? Im tempted to try flashing 20i to see if im lucky like you but i really need it unlocked as im not a tmobile user. Is there no way to flash back 20i_un coming from 20i ?

Did you insert a tmobile sim? Also do you know if we can flash back to the sellers bootleg 20i_un rom after flashing 20i? I want to see if mine will unlock too but i dont wan to risk being stuck without sim unlock

I contacted tmobile via facebook ans the person told me that the phone must be associated with a tmobile account. Im not a tmobile user :(

So how did the seller unlock the phone? Usually you would see something posted here or on gsmhosting if there was a sim unlock but theres nothing when searching

I think you can still get warranty you just need to flash the stock rom. You can use the imei number to check the production date. Lg gives 15 months warranty from the production date. I got warranty service a couple months back from a defective g5 i bought from ebay. I just used the imei number...
