According the the HTC website, the Asian and Euro versions seem to have the 800 band. Mine might be a Pakistan version since it came with official import stickers from the PTA. Two questions: 1) You don't suppose there is a way to change the bands is there? It's a hardware issue, am I right...

It's probably the Asian version because the manual has HTC contact number for the Far East and Australia. I would have preferred a European version for the 800 MHZ band.

Yes so you can flash a Rom from fastboot (penguin screen) and don't need your PC to recognize your phone in CWM mode.
