I thought that this toolkit did away with that requirement. As I mentioned in my OP, I am working with a Cricket XT1045. Motorola does not give out unlock codes for these versions. I will post in that other thread if anyone has found a workaround. Thanks

Phone was recognized, program went thru the motions but.. Command prompt did what it was supposed to do, but it still asked to enter unlock code from Motorola site. I just continued hitting any key to continue. Bootloader still locked. What now ?
