Basically I lost my phone and I called Sprint and reported it stolen. Come to find out a friend of mine had the phone the whole time. I called to see if I can get it off the black list but they told me that the phone is basically a tablet now and there is nothing I can do to remove the IMEI off...

You sure that this will fix my back button. Ill buy it and install it.

Okay ill tell them. But who knows my back button don't work cuz i put it in water. I might be able to get it replaced for a new one. That would be better anywayz. But either way I will let you guys know how it turns out.

So then the only way to go back to a rootable version is to somehow switch it out for another SGS4
