Post p9 bricked, no charging, no system

Please make sure you have the right stock firmware for you phone, and use the dload method without using twrp. To do this, put the Update.app in the dload folder on your sdcard. Then follow these steps: Unplug usb cable Hold power button + volume up + volume down at the same time Keep it...

    Post Eva-l09 / eva-l09c432b166

I did a search and I can't find anyone who has been able to update their B166 to Nougat. You can try downloading and installing B182 first using the sd card dload method, but apparently it seems to fail at around 40%. Alternatively, try installing B136 full update and see if that works.

Post Huawei P9 - Software Update problem

A shot in the dark here, but you can try downloading this ROM: http://www.carbontesla.com/2016/11/download-huawei-p9-b182-marshmallow-update-europe/ You will also need an SD card (if you already have one, you can use that) - Once you have done that, extract it anywhere. - Connect your phone to...

    Post Problem with recovery

What is your current build, and what are you trying to recover to? You probably just have to find the right ROM for it to work.

Post Forced recovery stuck at 5%

I managed to use the recovery dload method to install a beta version of B378 (build number NRD90M test-keys). Will now try to use the recovery method to roll back to B136 and update back to B378 again.

Post I've spent my entire day trying to get stock rom, and failed.

It worked. It took two days of tinkering, but it finally worked. So here's what I did step by step: What you need: 1: Stock ROM https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/stock-rom-dload-file-p9-eva-l09-b136-t3382818 2: SRK tool https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=119495 3: My...

Post I've spent my entire day trying to get stock rom, and failed.

I tried using the B136 rom found from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/stock-rom-dload-file-p9-eva-l09-b136-t3382818 Went back to stock recovery, put the dload on my SD card, and rebooted holding down the volume buttons. It installs the package, but it boots into B166...

Post I've spent my entire day trying to get stock rom, and failed.

I'm getting closer. I have followed your steps, and installed the original ROM (dload-huawei-p9-eval09-eva-b136). I extracted system, recovery, and boot images using the extractor, and installed it using the SRK tool. However, the firmware version still displays EVA-L09C432B166. The phone boots...

I'll try flashing to JP2, jp3 has given me nothing but trouble. Do I just follow the same procedure or is there another way of downgrading to a previous firmware?
