Why don't you use TaiChi in an old phone or tablet only for custom faces, and on your daily phone original Health app!
I've installed Xposed on Mediapad M3 & M5 and I connect my watch to one of them only if I want to install custom face.
For the rest of time is watch connected to my Mate20 Pro.
No. I by license for the software I want, but there is no trial version of this one. So you can buy it or leave it, or try alternative software.
P.S.
I think you already know if it's good enough ......
If you don't know than join the Discord group.
I don't understand some people. They have money to buy 150+euro watch but they don't want to spend 5€ more for a software that they like
That's donation fee for the FM. Two beers.

This works on Huawei devices.
1. Download to internal storage:
VirtualXposed_0.18.2
multiple_faces_1
huawei.health_10.0.3.511
and latest HMS Core 5.0.2.301
2. In Health App on your phone:
disconnect your Watch & sign out.
Normally this will automatically sign you out from...
It worked fine for me on three Huawei devices: Mate 20 Pro, Mediapad M3 & Mediapad M5 lite.
I've used VirtualXposed. TaiChi kept asking to uninstall HMS Core (system App on Huawei) and I didn't want to do that.
I've installed with VirtualXposed all neded apps from storage (download) folder.
Follow the steps from my post above, but with these files:
VirtualXposed v_0.18.2 ( not TaiChi)
Multiple_Faces v1
Latest HMC_Core 5.0.1.313
and Health v_10.0.3.511 app.
With other health versions it kept installing same watch face over and over again until it reached maximum of 30 faces...
Works fine on Media Pad 3 & Mate 20 pro.
With this method, you can install more than just one watch face and it doesn't override the existing one.
I'm using:
VirtualXposed v_0.18.2 ( not TaiChi)
Multiple_Faces v1
Latest HMC_Core 5.0.1.313
and Health v_10.0.3.511 app.
With other health versions...
Same here. There is nothing to install.
This is how I've done on MediaPad 3:
1. Installed VirtiualXposed.
2. In Xposed, installed WachFaceEnabler -> enabled -> rebooted Xposed
3. In Xposed, installed HuaweiHealth v_10.0.5.332 ( with versions 10.0.1.021-wearBeta & 10.1.1.312 didn't work) & HMS...
