same here ran the exe did my back up.no bootanimation at all.i tried to chmod 755 /system/bin/bootanimation says permission denied. i still have bootanimation and mp3 in data/local and in system/media.still a no go. will try a few other things but it dont look promising:(

where can i get this executable?can someone post it up?i would try it to see if we can get it to work on droid.

not sure about nexus but for my droid i tried that still no sound,i tried changing extension to ogg also tried in system/media... bootanimation works great either way,but no sound either way.
