  • Oh. So in short yes, did not have to pay and kept my new swap phone, which now is insured via tmobile and rooted =)
    After speaking with a member of the forums here, he put in a ticket with google. After having my issue escalated over at Htc combined with filling out a reply to the estimate charges for repair with "I was assured that dust under the screen was covered", within 2 days it appeared to be resolved. I never got a call or anything , i just got curious and checked my ticket again and saw it had been closed
    Did they fix the dust issue/give you a new phone, or did you have to pay cos it was unlocked?
