FYI I went into the local Verizon store today. All that had to be done for me was transfering the SIM card and registering the IMEI to the network. Both inbound and outbound calls and text messages worked right away.

Has anyone figured out how to "format as internal" the micro SD card? I can't find this option on the phone. The only option is "format" which only allows me to store photos. I would like to be able to store at least some of my apps on an SD card.

Hello, My XZ2 Compact is due from Best Buy this week. I'm nervous that I'll have a difficult time getting this setup to completely work on Verizon after reading some of the comments. Would it make a difference if I went into a Verizon store and showed them this thread? I really don't want to...
