    Charging speed is amazing. Honestly the quickest charge out of any piece of technology I have ever used. The battery life you get from the amount of time you take to charge is absolutely phenomenal.

    Surprisingly cool on my end. It is also Winter down here in Aus so that could count for it however even if warm and host conditions here, it has maintained a cool temperature for me.

    Its a flagship of Android so it will be used as a standard for development in alot of cases. That alone is worth praise to its longevity. It will likely be supported for years to come.

    Amazing feel in the hands. Little cold if you pick it up after leaving it on a table for a while because of the materials used, but a cool phone is better than one that overheats.

    I cannot recommend the phone enough to be honest. The battery life is amazing. As you've said, you've had bad luck with battery in the past; You may want to keep an eye on what apps you install as that could also be a major contributing factor.

    Post Pixel is not visible in Windows 10 after August update

    Just tried it, I have the latest Windows and updates to my phone. Have you flashed anything recently which could result in changes to how it displays in any way? Mine seems fine however I am not rooted and have not flashed anything.

    Getting about 15 hours of screen-on regularly. Honestly amazing considering not only the size of the battery but also how well it performs.

    If I do root for that matter, would I lose root upon updating to O? and will I even be able to update to O if I am rooted?
