Google Assistant does not work, instead Google Now Search pops up. Any idea how to fix it? Already tried changing language but that did not work.

i am currently on 10/9 build, but had same issue with 9/26. i also noticed a warning in orange color when i flashed v44 that says something like "there is already an installation of this in bootloader", i dont know if thats important or not. edit:

Accelerometer and gyroscope, therefore Auto-rotation does not work. I flashed v44 and it didn't fix it. Is this a known issue?

I have the same exact issue. I heavily use assistant so it would be great I could fix this.

sadly, this did not work. i both tried flashing fpc fix with and after flashing the rom, still no chance.

fingerprint sensor does not work, before or after flashing with that fix (i did not know if i had fpc or goodix, i just flashed it after seeing fingerprint sensor did not work). did i do something wrong or is this a known issue and you are going to fix it?
