I really can't see anyone preferring the G2 UI over the updated G3 UI ..

You go to lockscreen -> shortcuts and tap on the icons .

If the devision in charge of the update can't deliver the product why would another devision would say the complete opposite?

Samsung are the one who said they won't update I9300 as it has 1GB of ram and they arn't willing to remove futers as a means to shrink the system to make it compatible with the device.

The thing with the nexus is that custom roms are as solid as stock because all sources are available and made for AOSP anyway... only if the S3 could have that kind of rock solid AOSP rom's it would be a perfect device for its time.

What Knox bootloader ? I9300 has no Knox .. The only good think Samsung did when it comes to software on our phone.

It has nothing to do with Ram , there are new Samsung phones with 512MB of ram KitKat out of the box , also the Note 2 is the SAME hardware just with 2GB of RAM and it got OFFICIAL OTA to KitKat few days ago so no reason samsung would have so much problems with the S3 update .
