Updated from R1 to R2, all was well so this morning I did a full, clean install of R2. Since then, I cannot get network data. Odd. I tried pulling in APN settings from CM11 (EE 4G UK) but no luck. Any advice?
Cheers
Hello all -
I have recently relocated to the UK from the US, and I have a US Galaxy S3 (ATT) which is rooted (running CM 10.2) and SIM-unlocked. I have no issues using this with 3G networks here (TMobile) but would it also work on EE's 4G LTE network if I upgraded my plan, or would I require a...
I have this issue too. I use SSHDroid on my phone, and connect via SSHFS from Linux. I get around 1mb/s average this way, when my computer is on Ethernet (slower if it is on wifi). I'm running CM 10.1 nightly on AT&T S3. I'll give it a try on Windows at some point, but so far I haven't found...
ota update fails
I am getting an error while trying to apply and update via the Cm10 updater (going from 1002 to 1003) - a mount error of some sort.
Someone in the development thread had the issue as well, but I can't post there yet.
ecapox's method worked for me. One thing though - the number I put in the call-forwarding settings on my phone is NOT my GV number, but the number the GV website shows when I log in and click activate (ie the *004*<somenumber># - which isn't my GV number).
The voicemail number - the one to...
The issue with Google search is mentioned on the first page of this thread for the 8/25 build - but I downloaded/flashed without reading... too eager!
Unrelatedly, is there any way to get ALAC playback in Apollo?
8/25 had Google Search crashing whenever i clicked on the search bar. I flashed the nightly and apps freshly twice, each time with full cache/data/Dalvic wipe. I am back on 8/24 for now. Generally working very well though!
I have that lag on the home button unlock, but only sometimes. FWIW, there's a setting under Lock Screen/Screen Security->Menu Unlock - when I flash a fresh update, that button is unchecked (it still lags though, even when it IS checked).
Does that file explorer app have an option to flip between read-only and read/write mode? I used Root Explorer - which defaults to read-only - and switched to read-write for the rename.
Happened to me as well. I managed to sort it out by installing CWM and then renaming /system/recovery-from-boot.p to recovery-from-boot.p-bak (or whatever). I read somewhere here that that script would launch on reboot and overwrite the recovery with stock.
Good luck!
