Disabling NFC has fixed this issue for now!

I decided to look at the battery stats and was pleasantly surprised by how well the battery was doing, considering I haven't had a Samsung phone since the GSII. And for the sake of disclosure, I didn't do anything special. Just stock settings.

They're better than I expected, but my $100 SE215s still blow them out of the water, so I wouldn't really call them anything near high end.

I have all three OnePlus phones, and although the X is technically the worst-specced, it's somehow the fastest of all three. So either I have duds for my One and 2, or the X is simply the best phone OnePlus has made :D

I got a different text saying that 2G phones won't work after December 2016. I don't see why AT&T would block "unauthorized" LTE devices though.

I'm currently using a OnePlus X on AT&T. I get band 2 coverage where I live, but it seems like my phone can only pick it up after about 10PM or so. HSPA speeds aren't all that terrible though. I generally get anywhere between 2Mbps and 8Mbps.

Forgot to take a screenshot of the SOT, but it was about 4 hours. LiquidSmooth ROM with AK Kernel, underclocked to 1.5GHz, undervolted by 50mV, conservative governor, row IO scheduler with 1024kB read ahead. No performance issues whatsoever, and it's one of the best battery life times I've ever...

Slightly off topic, but... I just got a new Macbook Pro. Since when are laptops supposed to get better battery life than phones? Not to mention a powerhouse of a laptop... I have both open, and I'm seeing my phone battery percentage drain faster than my laptop. I think I'm doing something...

I wouldn't say the Skyrocket was a particularly "niche" phone. We had a huge developer base. The Moto X is admittedly slower, but this is the one phone that doesn't really need all that much development.

I've noticed some more noticeable battery drain. Is it possibly because of the screen? Or because I'm using ART...? Sent from my XT1058 using xda app-developers app
