just tried the new update, my sim card was recognized quickly and I could connect to hspa+ but no LTE. Love the rom for everything else but just for getting higher speeds I'm going back to nougat for the time being, I'd love to try future updates if this is fixed still though! cheers

I got the data to work overnight but this morning it cut off and I couldn't get it to connect again. I rebooted constantly and sometimes I could get my phone number to show up for a while, but voice and data would never actually connect. the voice type would flicker between unknown and LTE, and...

damn ok it was working perfect for about 5 minutes and then disconnected. now it doesn't show my phone number in the secret menu either and none of the network types work. I've rebooted twice and nothing changes. bizarre ---------- Post added at 03:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:53...

edit - I solved it! I just pulled up the secret menu with *#*#4636#*#*, and in the phone info section, it shows my real phone number even though it says my number is unknown in the settings app. I changed the network type to auto gsm and now it works! I think I can finally stay in this rom now...

Ok I gotta install the sdk on my linux machine this is my first time having to do this. So capture those logs through adb as I install and boot into the rom? edit - nvm I got adb working, I'll reinstall and capture those logs now

huh, I just installed the latest build and my sim card still isn't detected at all! is there any way to fix this? The latest PDA version, G920TUVS6FRA3 was published two days ago, it says it's still for nougat but would flashing that help? edit - I should clarify, it doesn't say "no sim card...

hey that's my phone too, I haven't been able to get my sim card recognized at all before but you saying that makes me optimistic - did you download the rom today before their website went down? I've read about people trying the new version but it looks like it was only up for a short time...

Hi first time posting here, I've been lurking around for a while. I'm using the tmobile g920t, a few weeks ago I tried flashing the can version of this rom that was published in december and I could get it to boot, run and root fine but couldn't recognize my sim card at all. When I searched...

Actually I figured it out, I was able to boot after reflashing. Don't even need to factory reset, just resetting /system/app. There's a slew of stock apps I unstall first thing and there had to have been one that was required for sim use. After restoring all stock apps, mobile data works...

Hey so I got transparency working and the vibration fixed, thanks again! Next problem, I just cut down my microsim to put it in, and I got it to the right size so it fits snug, but as soon as I put it in and rebooted it gets stuck at the tmobile loading screen on boot. I left it for 20 minutes...

Is there any way to fix it without resetting and reflashing everything? I completely removed the framework, rebooted and everything. and yeah I checked out potato gradient but it only changes what colors are in the status bar, I want it with no color so it blends in with the launcher wallpaper...
