is the 3.5 mm handsfree on Windows Mobile? If so the current ROMs cooked ROM have no support for it. If it is on Vista side then probably your driver's have issue. Did you try restarting your machine? if so, please update the drivers from HTC website.

I will definately look into that idea. You are right and your chinese friend is also right, there is something wrong about that chinese claim about having SD access. I will look into that idea given by you.
