Did you by any chance didn't perform proper wipe? Try use "fastboot -w" with computer connected phone in the fastboot mode, it worked for me previously, though I am using K30 5G. Also, make sure you are using the right TWRP and ROM versions. Take a look and this thread and try go through all...

OK thank you. I wasn't sure you were talking about that one. I am using it with EU ROM actually. It's from a Chinese developer ( yes I am Chinese too) and he probably won't provide the source code as I see it. Will let you know if he does.

Don't do that. They are two different phones with different Qualcomm Snapdragon CPUs. ROMs are different.

Yes of course. All EU ROM updates after 11.0.9 for K30 5G is flashable through TWRP. Put the zip file in phone or in an OTG flash drive.

Guess I am saying thanks again. Flashed TWRP 3-17 and it worked! Rooting with Magisk was fine still. Magisk now says there is 20.04 out there but I don't think I am going to try my luck again. Online repo now show all the mk modules there too now. Big thanks!

Well it took me 3+ hours but I finally flashed EU ROM 11.1.19 and successfully boot with TWRP 3-13 version, all my data was lost of course. fastboot -w reported an error. I also tried TWRP 3-17 but I couldn't boot into recovery from either fastboot cmd or holding Power and Vol+. I also tried...

That's the reason why I am not sure how to upgrade now. One step to newest or step by step. The latter may require different versions of TWRP and even different ways of flashing.

Did you upgrade all EU ROM though TWRP after Feb 20 when TWRP is available? Which versions did you use? My EU ROM version is now far behind current stable.
