Has anyone popped the screen to replace the battery? I've watched some You Tube videos how to get it off with a hair dryer or heat gun. They are a bit fuzzy on replacing the screen. Can the adhesive be replaced to keep it water resistant? Does anyone know more about this or have you done it before?

Actually nothing is wrong with that version. I wanted to try OREO. Now, I'm not sure i can go back to Nougat if I do. I guess I'll wait till I get another phone then I can play with one and always have something that works. No working phone isn't an option for me.
