I think I'll end up going to one after college one day. Ordered a strap from Amazon for £3 including expidited delivery so not bad.

There is corrosion but I've had the watch for a while and only got the update a few days ago. My reply was to you because it indicated to me that you thought it was a dumb question unrelated to tech. It seems it is the band. Does anyone know if it's hard to replace a watch band? Never done it...

Perhaps. I have stopped wearing it, and there is no more irritation. There are distinct spots on my wrist however.

Google it. Problem was caused by a constant current running through the pins which was supposed to be stopped in an update.

My G Watch has been causing a fair amount of skin irritation. I found the many articles online that say there is an update coming to fix it and I got an update a few days ago. Problem is, it's got much worse- there are a series of dots along my wrist which are very irritable after said update...
