On my rooted nook hd, and when looking through any cut, it had a setting for a sim card! So I made the shortcut, opened it, and it worked! But, I need a passcode. Been on like 10 pages of google search, and am I the only one who noticed this!?!?! I don't know the passcode, can any1 help?

I would suggest checking in the Google Play store for updates. What type of a magnetic cover? Sleep/wake, magnetic strap, or what? If it is an auto sleep wake, that may be it for the black screen. I don't personally have a Nook HD+, But I do have an HD. As far as I know the only difference...
