The reason it won't boot is because samsung locked it from going any higher version than it supportd (officially). That's why cm11 boots but any higher doesn't. It works on the non marvell chipset tab 4 with the Qualcomm because samsung unlocked those chipsets with better device tree...

I think you could.I don't know about the sd card error but I think it is a mount issue that can be fixed with the twrp recovery for your device.To flash it you need to use odin.
