Post Who is still using their Note 7?

Me too. Hopefully it stays a software update and not an IMEI block. Sent from my SM-N930T using XDA-Developers mobile app

Post Replacement AT&T Note7 *Supposedly* Overheated on a Southwest Flight 10/4

They did stop sales. I was in there at 2:50 today to exchange my V1 and loaner S7E to get the V2 (don't like the S7E and don't want stuck with it) and the V1 was just about returned when the manager came out and stopped the process because they JUST got an e-mail to stop exchanges/sales. That...

    Post Note 7 recall

I have a loaner S7E so they just pushed both boxes back to me and said "sorry, can't help you right now. Good luck." I really don't want to get stuck with the S7E which is why I was trying to return it before they blocked the v2...slightly too late. :-/ Sent from my SM-G935T using...

Post Note 7 v2 being investigated for a possible recall on the new V2 Note7

Yup, T-Mobile stopped. I was in the store trying to exchange the V1 for the V2, and I was almost done and then a manager came out and told the CSR to stop the process because they JUST got an e-e-mail telling them to stop exchanges/sales. So I was sent on my way with my V1 (and loaner S7E). Sad...

    Post Note 7 recall

T-Mobile stopped too. I just got back from the store where I was almost done exchanging the V1 one in for the V2, and a manager came out and stopped the process because they JUST got an e-mail to halt exchanges/sales of the Note 7. So I was sent back on my way with the original. Sent from my...

    Post Text message limits

Go to Messages, then the "more" in the upper right, then "settings", then "more settings", and then unselect "delete old messages". I haven't reached that number yet I don't think, but I presume that that would take care of it for you. Sent from my SM-G935T using XDA-Developers mobile app

    Post Media battery drain

I get that every time my phone boots up too. It just started doing that on Saturday for me. I found out that if you go into your battery usage stats and select it (after the phone has been running for a few minutes), select it, and then force close it, that I'm good-to-go until I reboot my phone...

Post [Q] why nandroid backup/restore is so slow?

Well, with adding the file to hide the progress bar, my Android took about 25 minutes last night. So it did speed up considerably, which I like, but it still takes longer than they used to. I'm definately content with that though. Thanks for the tip.

Post [Q] why nandroid backup/restore is so slow?

I'm going to try this trick too. I have the Verizon Galaxy S3 and my nandroids take an hour and a half. On my DInc, they only took around 10 minutes. It's really annoying having to wait and hour and a half for a nandroid. That, and it eats ~40% of my battery doing it. Hopefully this little...

    Post Just got the update

I just had the update pushed to my phone. I saw my screen flicker and so I looked at it and it was already updating. I don't like them pushing it to my phone without my permission. On my Incredible, I had the option to install the update or not. <scolding tone> Bad Verizon. Anywho, I guess we'll...
