Post New Tip for Galaxy s3

You can also long press an app icon and then drag it to a home screen, get info by dragging it to the tab at the bottom, etc. You can also hide or uninstall apps right there...

Post Are you a NOOB? Ask any NOOB questions here

So I know this thread is for tips... is it cool to ask for a tip or is that cheating? You know the old Google News and Weather app from GB? I miss it. Is it not available for 4.0+ at all or did Sprint or Samsung just take it out to be jerks? RSS readers are not the same. Neither is the Current...

On the home screen I think it works with a drag also (long press not required). The long press to flip pages works on the app list too. I'm guessing you must ask know about long lasting the hardware buttons right? Long press the menu buttons for search and long press the middle one (I guess...

Hmm, I mostly use Exchange server, but there are some bits that my Google account will have. If I trust our home network administrator that data is safely mirrored as well. That's a big if, though, the server is kind of a sandbox for my techie hubster. I guess mostly I just don't trust anyone...

Post Restore true full UMS access to JB S3 ?

Wait a sec... are you saying the file access modes are android version specific and not handset manufacturer specific? I thought it was just a Samsung deal. (A very unpleasant one) Sent from my handheld awesomeness generator using Tapatalk deux

    Post Saving mms

No idea, but if you just want a convenient backup of your texts, this one seems them to your gmail. They'll be threaded weird and out of order, but easily searchable. Oops, I can't post links yet. It's called SMS Backup+, available on the play market. Sent from my handheld awesomeness...

I think this thread is a great idea. I spent a few hours looking around in the 9300 forum before figuring out I have sph l710 which isn't the same. So I think that alone qualifies me as a newb. (or noob as you spell it... our is it n00b?) I even would go so far as to suggest an adopt-a-n00b...
