I use fastboot to change slots. I noticed with the alpha twrp slot changing did not quite function properly. I have not patched in the twrp update as of yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Fantastic news. Well when he is ready to push this rom into testing, definitely put me on the list. I have my phone already set up to dual boot but just need another rom to test in my other slot. Still making sure to leave one slot set up for stock though for Android pay.
